The Problem:

GHOST MODE

Sunnyside TinyVill illustration of a friendly ghost offering a hug

Standard video apps were designed for corporate boardrooms, not childhood.

  • 📊 Boardrooms have agendas. Kids need spontaneous moments.

  • 🔗 Meetings have links. Friendships need hallways.

  • 📹 In a grid, kids are on display. In a real space, kids are together.

When we force kids onto adult software, they fall into Ghost Mode: passive, silent, and disconnected. They aren't antisocial—they're just trapped in a tool built for work, not play.

What it’s Like

Real friendships aren't built in scheduled meetings. They are built on Shared Presence—the simple, everyday warmth of existing in the same space at the same time.

Instead of logging into another classroom grid, TinyVill gives homeschool families a digital town square to call their own. Powered by spatial technology, kids experience true proximity.

🚶 Natural Movement: Walk up to talk, step away to fade out—no links or waiting rooms needed.

🛋️ Pull Up a Chair: Hang out side-by-side without the pressure of being "on camera.

🍃 Organic Chats: Conversations start and end as naturally as walking past someone in a hallway.

🏕️ Game Nights: Hop in for multiplayer party games, tabletop fun, and friendly gaming sessions with peers once schoolwork is done.

Shared Presence

We don't need another video call. TinyVill brings back the spontaneous magic of childhood through natural spatial movement:
