A Historic Partnership: PETA x Sunnyside
This is a first for our community. Sunnyside—the social village for homeschooling families —is joining forces with the legends of the Philippine stage to bring professional theater to our village.
PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association) has been the heartbeat of national drama since 1967. Together, we are building a world-class theater track specifically for the homeschool world.

Repertory Theater Guidance (RTG) is our advanced mentorship program where students move into the "Director’s Chair" and "Writer’s Room." Under PETA's professional guidance, students develop original scripts and gain "Production Thinking"—this is the official pre-production phase for our 2027 finale.

World-class mentorship shouldn't depend on your proximity to Manila or require navigating endless city traffic. By bringing PETA’s legendary curriculum into a digital studio space, we are able to offer this complete immersion at ₱10,000 per participant—a 33% reduction from our standard ₱15,000 physical track.
Your teen gets the exact same master-level mentorship from two PETA artist-teachers, connects with a borderless peer community, and leaves with official credits on a premiered digital production. You get high-impact arts education delivered straight to your living room.

Whether your child loves being in front of the camera or working behind the scenes, there is a place for them in the credits:
🎭 Acting & Voice Acting: Character vocal modulation, screen presence, and physical/puppet manipulation.
✍️ Screenwriting & Copywriting: Crafting original premises, writing character dialogue, and storyboarding.

The Storytelling Lab focuses on scriptwriting, digital media, and performance for ages 13–19, while our Youth & Children’s Workshops (2027) focus on foundational creative play, confidence building, and ensemble storytelling for younger learners.

Yes! While the Storytelling Lab is tailored for ages 13–19, Sunnyside and PETA will co-offer junior creative arts modules designed specifically for younger homeschoolers by 2027. Check our main course catalog or message us to see current openings for ages 6–12.

Yes! Upon successful completion and participation in the digital premiere, every student receives an official PETA x Sunnyside Certificate of Completion, along with credited portfolio assets (Acting, Writing, or Directing credits) to use for college or creative applications.

Students aren't just choosing between either acting or puppetry, they can combine them!
Teen actors can perform live on camera and interact directly with digital or physical puppets voiced and operated by their peers (or even by themselves). It’s an innovative blend of live-action acting, voice modulation, and digital stagecraft.
