Elizabeth Carandang

Elizabeth has been the architect of learning environments long before Sunnyside was born. Since 1994, she has served as the Proprietor and School Principal of The Master’s School. With three decades of leadership, she has shaped school culture, guided curriculum design, and mastered the delicate art of walking alongside families through a child's most formative years.

Her perspective is unique, blending a background in public service and research with hands-on education. She previously served with UNICEF and the National Nutrition Council, monitoring government projects and education benchmarks across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. This deep history in both policy and practice allows her to see the "whole child"—ensuring that Sunnyside’s care is never abstract, but always practiced.
