Integrated Theater Arts Experience (ITAX)
Moving as one. Integrated Theater Arts (ITAX) is our high-octane immersion into the world of professional performance, held directly at the legendary PETA Theater Center.
This isn’t a "sit-and-watch" field trip; it’s a dynamic, condensed version of PETA’s signature workshop format. Guided by PETA’s own Artist-Teachers, our teens move from the audience to the stage, learning that the most powerful stories are told when we listen, move, and create as a single, cohesive unit.
We trade the "solo act" for the power of the group.
The ITAX Experience:
The All-Access Tour: A behind-the-scenes trek through the stage, dressing rooms, and technical areas to see how the theater "machine" actually runs.
The Interactive Workshop: Hands-on collaboration exercises led by PETA professionals, focusing on the "Ensemble Mindset"—where production and teamwork are the primary skills.
The Living History: An exploration of Philippine theater’s roots and the figures who used the stage to shape our world.
The Studio Showcase: A culminating mini-performance where the group puts their new collaborative skills into action inside the studio space.
The Village Encore: Every participant receives free tickets to a future PETA show, ensuring the theater remains a persistent part of our village life.
What ITAX Builds:
Production Awareness: Understanding that theater is a massive team effort involving tech, design, and performance.
Social Attunement: Developing the instinct to sense what the ensemble needs and how to contribute to the collective energy.
Vocal & Physical Presence: Finding the confidence to take up space and speak your truth within a professional environment.
Who It’s For:
Ages 13–17: Teens curious about performance, storytelling, or the invisible work of production.
The 25-Pack: This is an intimate, high-impact session limited to 25 participants to ensure everyone is seen.
Creative Explorers: Families looking for structured, professional arts exposure that feels like a shared adventure.
This is where we learn that no one treks the stage alone.
