Integrated Theater Arts Experience (ITAX)

Sunnyside’s TheaterKid program partners with Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) to bring teens a live, immersive theater experience inside PETA’s own facilities.

On April 6 at 1:00 PM, students will participate in the Integrated Theater Arts eXperience (ITAX) — a condensed, dynamic version of PETA’s signature theater immersion format.

This workshop is conducted at the PETA Theater Center and facilitated by PETA’s Artist-Teachers.

What Teens Will Experience

  Guided access to stage, dressing rooms, and technical areas

• 📜 Theater History
  Overview of Philippine theater, key figures, and movements

• 🎬 Interactive Workshop
  Hands-on collaboration exercises focused on production and teamwork

  A culminating performance inside the studio space

This is a behind-the-scenes immersion into how theater actually works — not just performance, but collaboration.
